The existence of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been detected since June 2024, and several images believed to be official posters have now leaked online. Not only that, but some of its interesting specifications have also been revealed.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is predicted to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024. With its “FE” (Fans Edition) moniker, this device is expected to have a lower price compared to the standard Samsung Galaxy S24 flagship phone.
Launch Date and Colors
According to Android Headlines, the Galaxy S24 FE may debut in October after the release of the iPhone and Pixel. This follows the same pattern as last year’s Galaxy S23 series, which was launched in the first quarter of 2023, followed by the Galaxy S23 FE in October 2023.
The leaked images show that the smartphone will come in five color variants: Graphite, Blue, Silver/White, Green, and Yellow. The poster also highlights several features of Galaxy AI, including Portrait Studio, Circle to Search, Generative Edit, Sketch to Image, and Live Translate.
Performance and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is predicted to be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset, although details about this chip are still scarce. However, it’s believed to be a downgraded version of the Exynos 2400, which scored around 1.7 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks.
The poster description reveals a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,900 nits. This screen size is larger than last year’s Galaxy S23 FE, which measured only 6.4 inches.
Battery Life
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE reportedly packs a 4,565 mAh battery, claimed to last up to 78 hours of music playback and 29 hours of video playback. While this is still unconfirmed, it’s an impressive spec sheet that fans will surely appreciate.
